I feel like a constant in my photography is a plan that goes sideways yet still works out. I did an astrophotography workshop. I wanted to get better at shooting the night sky. So We did some classroom talking and then headed out into the world to test our new skills. We arrived at Concho Overlook early and I was able to capture some amazing images of the fog rolling into the canyon. Then as it got darker the fog started to rise and thicken. We couldn’t see 10 feet in front of us let alone the stars or the sky. So shooting the stars was out, but I got some amazing shots of the fog rolling in.
