This one is a layup. I honestly hate posting pics of the Grist Mill. I love shooting it, hate sharing it. Simply this is a photo that everyone in West Virginia and many many other places have the same exact photo of. Is this one the best? I am not sure its the best of all the photos I have taken of it. I feel an obligated sense of West Virginia Pride to share my version of this image today. I ended back in the area and it was raining last week when I was camping here, so I chose to get my shot at the Grist Mill. I love this spot, I really do. I love to show people the beauty of this spot. If you have never seen an image like this one I am proud it was me to share it with you. But Google image search this place. I believe it comes up with a number that could break the internet. Anyway. here is the official 2022 version of DThomas Photography’s take of the Grist Mill at Babcock State Park in West By God Virginia. Seriously, if you have never visited take some time and drop by. There is a number of things to see and do in the area and it will be an amazing day of outdoor adventure. I am not saying that because West Virginia Tourism writes me checks, because they don’t. It is just a fantastic spot to find some adventures.
