Last week I could not find epic light. This week epic light found me. I set up my tripod along the Ohio River in Williamstown, WV and waited as the sunset. The sky put on a show of colors that danced through the clouds. It was a moment where the beauty was unreal. I love and hate those moments. When the sky is fantastic and everything comes together I almost go into a a panic to not miss the shot. I want every setting perfect to catch the moment so when I share it you can feel the same awe that I felt. Then there is a time element, as quickly as the sky shows its beauty it can be gone in an instant. One must trust in themselves and not second guess. Trusting my abilities is always a challenge, but walking away with this shot is an ego boost for sure. I love to be challenged, that is what improves my skills and shows my weaknesses.
