I ended up in Devola, OH looking for an image. There was no plan, there was no location in mind. I pointed my truck west and crossed a river and aimlessly explored some areas and nothing felt right. Some days I am just looking for something different and I was not finding it. Then suddenly it came to me, I was near a place I used to go fishing as a kid. Two decades or more had passed since I had last been there so I figured I would give it a shot. I was blessed with that choice, so far this is my favorite image of 2022. The sky just popped all kinds of color. The locks made for a different foreground. Somedays you get lucky and find so many elements come together perfectly. I hope I have many more like this one.
